What can the printing industry do to make it easier?

The European printing industry has launched the updated version of "Recycling of printed products - What can the printing industry do to make it easier?" The purpose of the brochure is to identify problem areas in the field of collected recovered paper and to suggest solutions to reduce their impact on the paper recycling process.

The initial project led by the Environmental Council of the Swedish Printing Industry was carried out in the year 1999/2000 by several partners, including printing associations and companies, and received the support of the European Commission via the Leonardo Programme.

In 2008 Intergraf, the International Confederation for Printing and Allied Industries and one of the founding partners, undertook to produce an updated version. Intergraf is a signatory member of the European Declaration on Paper Recycling and contributes actively in the ERPC work.
